TiBB Radio One (stylised as TiBB Radio 1) is a radio station owned and operated by TiBB Public Broadcasting which broadcasts internationally, specialising in in modern and current popular music throughout the day. Until 10 December 2020, it also specialised in news, entertainment, and talk.

History[]

In 2013, TiBB Radio One was originally started as Radio TiBB. It broadcasted occasionally over the course of 3 1/2 years. When it started, the programming was scarce and there were barely any hosts on the station. Then, in June 2017; it started broadcasting more programmes and it was rebranded under its current name, with the creation of an additional radio station named TiBB Radio 2. In October 2017, it finally got its flagship news programme called 'theMixer'; which will gradually replace the simulcast of TiBB News Tonight.

It was announced on 19 January 2018 that all of TiBB Networks would get a new main logo (using the eye logo indicator from TiBB News); which was to debut on TiBB News Tonight on 21 January 2018, and be first used on the date of the voting results of the TiBB Eurovision Song Contest 2018, 5 May 2018; but due to all of the TiBB1 regions praising the new look, the rebrand happened on 20 January 2018.

The rebrand of TiBB Networks was modified on 8 May 2018, to become more in-line with the new look of TiBB News and the TiBB News Channel; with both TiBB Radio 1 and TiBB Radio 2 receiving the new TEGNA music.

In June and July 2018, TiBB Networks announced that more programmes would be added to the line up; with theMixer replacing News Breakfast, and a new evening programme called 'Shift' was announced.

On 9 December 2020, it was announced that TiBB Public Broadcasting would be revamping the format of TiBB Radio One from a news and entertainment station to a contemporary music station. This meant that the Irish breakaway service was closed down, and all non-music programming was removed.

TiBB Raidió a hAon[]

When TiBB Radio One relaunched under its current name, it also launched an Irish-language service and semi-simulcast called 'TiBB Raidió a hAon'. It plays most of the same programming of the English-language service, just with Irish-speaking hosts; and with multiple Nuacht TiBB bulletins instead of simulcasting TiBB News Tonight. This special breakaway service was closed down at 11.59pm on 9 December 2020.
